Plant Company Increases Offer

Finlay Plant has increased its product offer under an exclusive deal to market four new generation additions to the Terex Finlay range.

Terex Finlay's new line-up includes the 984 Horizontal Screen, the C1540 and C1540RS tracked mobile Cone Crusher, the I-130 Impact Crusher, and the giant J-1480 Jaw Crusher.

Finlay Plant, part of the Finlay Group of companies, is the sole dealer for the new machinery across England and Wales.

Innovative features have been built in across the range. These include a patent pending metal detection and purge system in the C1540 and C1540RS Cone Crusher ' facilitating an automatic start/stop sequence, which makes the machine more user-friendly and reduces operator error.

The 984 now includes an electrical control panel display, providing live feedback, from various engine parameters - allowing interlink between the machinery and others working in a link ' while the I-130's direct drive, independent hydraulic pre-screen and under crusher vibratory feeder deliver enhanced performance and efficiency that reduces downtime.

Increased efficiency is guaranteed with the J-1480 Jaw Crusher, the largest ever manufactured by Terex Finlay, who have created a new facility to build the machine at their Omagh headquarters.

Terex Finlay unveiled the new machinery in Dublin ' with a presentation at The Clarion Hotel in the city outlining the technical aspects, followed by a demonstration at a nearby quarry, to demonstrate the on-site capacity.

Dave Statham, a director of Finlay Plant, which has its headquarters in Stafford, said: 'The new line-up form Terex Finlay compliments our existing range of crushers and screeners.

'All the machinery has benefited from an active programme of research and development, resulting in a number of innovative features to deliver greater control, mobility and increased production.

'Overall, this means greater choice, versatility and performance for clients and we have already had significant interest from both contractors and fleet operators.'
